Building Bonds Beyond the Office: TOPELE's Team Retreat to Liyang

At TOPELE, we believe that a connected team is a powerful team. To strengthen our bonds and reward our hard work, we embarked on a memorable two-day retreat to the serene landscapes of Liyang, Jiangsu, from November 14th to 15th. Leaving our daily routines behind, we immersed ourselves in nature, culture, and shared experiences that refreshed our minds and spirits.

Day 1: Bamboo Forests and Soothing Hot Springs

Our adventure began with a smooth high-speed train ride from Hangzhou to Liyang, building anticipation for the days ahead.

We started our exploration by diving into the lush, green expanse of Nanshan Bamboo Sea. Walking through the sun-dappled paths surrounded by towering bamboo was a truly tranquil and awe-inspiring experience. The fresh air and peaceful atmosphere were the perfect way to begin our team getaway.

As evening fell, we experienced the ultimate relaxation at the renowned Yushui Hot Springs. Soaking in the warm, therapeutic waters nestled in the hills was a fantastic way to unwind, share stories, and bond with colleagues under the open sky. This was followed by a delightful team dinner, filled with local flavors and lively conversation, capping off a perfect first day.

Day 2: Lake Serenity and a Journey Through History

After a restful night and a hearty breakfast, we headed to the stunning Tianmu Lake. A scenic boat ride on the crystal-clear water offered breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and a profound sense of calm. This peaceful journey was a highlight, allowing for reflection and appreciation of the region's natural beauty.

Our cultural immersion continued at the Liyang Museum. The museum's unique architecture and fascinating exhibits gave us a deep insight into the local history and culture, providing a thoughtful contrast to the previous day's natural adventures.

After a final group lunch, we boarded the train back to Hangzhou, carrying with us not just souvenirs, but a renewed sense of camaraderie and shared memories.

Returning Recharged and Reconnected

This retreat was more than just a trip; it was an investment in our team's well-being and collaboration. The experiences we shared—from the quiet majesty of the bamboo forest to the relaxing hot springs and the serene lake—have strengthened our connections and re-energized us all.

We returned to Hangzhou feeling refreshed, motivated, and more connected than ever. At TOPELE, we are proud to foster a culture that values both hard work and the team spirit that makes it all possible.
